THE BFA: With my newly minted degree in hand, I left the halls and studios of the R.I. School of Design to confront the workaday world of graphic design.
THE FIRST JOB: I got my feet wet with agency work, where the concept of design in support of strategy was driven home to good effect.
ON MY OWN: After a couple of stints as an agency art director, I founded my own shop. Early on, a referral led to my first client in higher ed. It was a great fit, so I set my business’s course for academia.
ALONG THE WAY: I’ve taught as a member of the adjunct faculties of RISD and the Massachusetts College of Art. And to keep sharp in the greater world of marketing communications, I’ve retained a few long-term accounts outside of academia.
I STRIVE TO MAKE my clients feel that mine is the most comfortable shop they’ve ever worked with as we bring their marketing objectives to life with stand-out design—both in print and in new media—in support of alumni, campaign, and advancement objectives.
